Stress tests are performed by a doctor and trained technician to evaluate the cardiovascular system during a period of excercise and increased demand. This test measure exercise capactiy and identifies abnormal responses to exercise.
Patient Preparation: Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers or walking shoes as you will be walking on the treadmill. Do not drink or eat foods containing caffeine for 12 hours before the test. The test takes about 30-45 minutes.
