Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Five 8-hour days a week
Job Description:
Graham County Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, helping patients regain mobility and strength, and improving overall functional independence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions.
- Assist with wound care management as directed by the Physical Therapist, including dressing changes and patient education.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
- Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
- Assist with patient transfers, mobility training, and use of assistive devices.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- The ability to lift and/or support over 25 pounds.

Radiologic Technologist
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Graham County Hospital
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Radiology Manager
Job Description:
Graham County Hospital is a vital Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our rural community. Our team works in a collaborative environment where every role contributes directly to patient well-being and community health. We’re currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist who is committed to excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Schedule:
- Four 9-hour shifts per week
- Day Shift 7:30am – 5:00pm
- No Holiday or Weekend Shifts (On-Call Only)
- Call coverage once a week, every fourth weekend, and rotating holidays.
- On-call room available if not within the 30-minute callback timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs X-Ray, CT Pain Management Fluoroscopy, and Bone Density Exams.
- Reception duties such as scheduling, answering phones, checking insurance authorizations, and entering orders.
- Scheduling all modalities in radiology including X-Ray, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
- Understand and support the direction and workflow of the department.
- Analyzes information to provide care safely and accurately according to established policies and protocols. Responsible for providing imaging services in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
- Provides patient education and instruction prior to and after examination.
- Responsible for patient safety and patient transport to and from the department.
- This is not an exhaustive list as additional duties may be required.
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) Certified
- Kansas Licensure
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- The ability to lift and/or support over 25 pounds.

We’re currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist who is committed to excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Schedule:
- Will assist in taking weeknight and weekend call.
- Option to help cover scheduled days during vacations and leave of absence.
- Call coverage once a week, every fourth weekend, and rotating holidays.
- On-call room available if not within a 30-minute callback timeframe.

Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Employment Type: Part-Time; 30-hour week schedule
Reports To: Clinic Manager / Director of Nursing
Job Description:

We’re currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist who is committed to excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field and route incoming calls for all clinic nurses, addressing patient questions and concerns promptly
- Process new prescriptions, refills, and respond to pharmacy/patient prescription inquiries
- Manage all insurance-related authorizations, especially during peak times like the beginning of the year
- Administer flu shots, allergy shots, blood pressure checks, and other minor procedures
- Assist eligible patients with enrollment and documentation for pharmaceutical assistance programs
- Monitor and order clinical supplies to maintain proper stock levels
- Conduct medication/sample expiration checks, glucometer validations, and other routine QA tasks
- Provide clinical support in place of other nurses during PTO, sick leave, or high-volume periods
Qualifications:
- Active LPN or RN license in Kansas
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience in a clinic or primary care setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with EHR systems and insurance processes a plus
- Commitment to rural health and patient-centered service
