Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Five 8-hour days a week
Job Description:
Graham County Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, helping patients regain mobility and strength, and improving overall functional independence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions.
- Assist with wound care management as directed by the Physical Therapist, including dressing changes and patient education.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
- Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
- Assist with patient transfers, mobility training, and use of assistive devices.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- The ability to lift and/or support over 25 pounds.

Job Title: Nurse Aides (NA) / Certified Nurse Aides (CNA)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts a week; 6a – 6p
Job Description:
Graham County Hospital is seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aides (NA) / Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, and work collaboratively with the nursing staff to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning patients as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and patient care tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly.
- Follow infection control protocols and facility safety procedures.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist with documentation and record-keeping as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred but can be taught.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and/or support up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally 51-100 lbs

Housekeeping Manager
Job Title: Housekeeping Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts – 2 holidays a year – Ability to fill in for Saturday shifts as needed
Job Description:
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department within a Critical Access Hospital. This role ensures the hospital environment is clean, safe, and compliant with infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. The manager leads, trains, schedules, and works alongside housekeeping staff to ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies and works collaboratively with other departments to support patient care and hospital operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, operating rooms, hallways, offices, waiting areas, and other spaces as assigned.
- Follow established infection control protocols, including appropriate use of chemicals, PPE, and isolation procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness in all hospital areas
- Promote a positive work environment that fosters accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.

PRN Hospital Housekeeper
Job Title: Hospital Housekeeper
Job Type: PRN
Schedule: Ability to fill in for shifts as needed
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, clinical departments, offices, and public spaces. This position may also be required to provide housekeeping coverage at the affiliated Rural Health Clinic when needed. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in infection prevention, patient comfort, and supporting the hospital’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Handle waste disposal, including biohazard and general waste
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of low stock
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carts
- Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies in patient and staff areas
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Radiologic Technologist
Job Title: Full-Time Radiologic Technologist
Location: Graham County Hospital
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Radiology Manager
Job Description:
Graham County Hospital is a vital Critical Access Hospital committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our rural community. We foster a collaborative environment where every team member plays a key role in supporting patient well-being and community health. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Radiologic Technologist who values excellence and patient-centered care.
Schedule:
- Four 9-hour shifts per week
- Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No holiday or weekend shifts (on-call only)
- Call coverage includes one weekday per week, every fourth weekend (with additional weekends rotated as needed for staffing), and shared holiday rotation.
- On-call room available for those outside the 30-minute callback radius
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-Ray, CT, Pain Management Fluoroscopy, and Bone Density exams
- Handle reception duties including scheduling, answering phones, verifying insurance authorizations, and entering orders
- Schedule all radiology modalities: X-Ray, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine
- Support departmental workflow and direction
- Analyze information to provide safe, accurate care in accordance with established policies and protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver quality imaging services
- Educate and instruct patients before and after examinations
- Ensure patient safety and manage patient transport to and from the department
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) Certification
- Kansas Licensure
- BLS Certification
