Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospital administration, health care organization leadership or another related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous management experience in hospital administration is preferred.
- Healthcare knowledge and/or experience of working with Critical Access Hospitals is preferred.
- Financial background is preferred.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Provides visionary leadership that inspires the highest levels of performance in the delivery of health care, business and clinical operations to achieve GCH’s mission, vision and values.
- Develops with the board of trustees and health system personnel short- and long-range strategic goals and objectives.
- Carries out the policies established by the board of trustees and advises on the formation of these policies.

Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Night Shift 6:00pm – 6:00am
- $2.50/hour shift differential for weeknight and $4.50/hour for weekend night

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Kansas
- BLS Certification
- ACLS/PALS certification encouraged within one year of employment
Job Duties:
- Receive patient assignments and institute nursing care for assigned patients.
- Provide excellent patient care in both emergent and non-emergent situations to inpatients and outpatients as well as to patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Delegate and supervise patient cares as appropriate to other staff members.
- Communicate well with other staff members including providers regarding patient care and status changes.
- Work actively as part of a team of professionals to improve patient care experiences and outcomes.
- Follow hospital policies regarding variances in patient cares, infection control and safety practices, and HIPAA/confidentiality.

Job Duties:
- Performs X-Ray, CT Pain Management Fluoroscopy, and Bone Density Exams.
- Reception duties such as scheduling, answering phones, checking insurance authorizations, and entering orders.
- Scheduling all modalities in radiology including X-Ray, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
- Understand and support the direction and workflow of the department.
- Analyzes information to provide care safely and accurately according to established policies and protocols. Responsible for providing imaging services in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
- Provides patient education and instruction prior to and after examination.
- Responsible for patient safety and patient transport to and from the department.
