Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Kansas
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS/PALS certification encouraged within one year of employment

Job Duties:

  • Receive patient assignments and institute nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Provide excellent patient care in both emergent and non-emergent situations to inpatients and outpatients as well as to patients presenting to the emergency room.
  • Delegate and supervise patient cares as appropriate to other staff members.
  • Communicate well with other staff members including providers regarding patient care and status changes.
  • Work actively as part of a team of professionals to improve patient care experiences and outcomes.
  • Follow hospital policies regarding variances in patient cares, infection control and safety practices, and HIPAA/confidentiality.

Job Duties:

  • Performs X-Ray, CT Pain Management Fluoroscopy, and Bone Density Exams.
  • Reception duties such as scheduling, answering phones, checking insurance authorizations, and entering orders.
  • Scheduling all modalities in radiology including X-Ray, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Understand and support the direction and workflow of the department.
  • Analyzes information to provide care safely and accurately according to established policies and protocols. Responsible for providing imaging services in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
  • Provides patient education and instruction prior to and after examination.
  • Responsible for patient safety and patient transport to and from the department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate well with staff and patients
  • Ability to handle confidential information successfully
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Job Duties:

  • Clean departments, patient rooms, utility rooms, closets, offices, lobbies, and halls on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Pick up trash and dispose of it in designated areas.
  • Use supplies economically and maintain all equipment as necessary.
