At Graham County Hospital, our Swing Bed Program provides extended care to patients recovering from illness or surgery who no longer need acute hospital care but aren’t ready to return home. Sponsored by Medicare and supported by our compassionate nursing staff, this program helps individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive environment.

Eligibility Requirements

Patients must have had a 3-day inpatient hospital stay and require continued skilled care such as:

  • IV therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Speech therapy

Medicare coverage applies; many private insurance plans accepted.
